Montgomery County Sanitation District #2 - Sewer Collection System Rehab Project RFQ

The Montgomery County Sanitation District # 2 will accept statements of qualifications from consulting engineering firms for planning, preliminary engineering, design, construction, other required engineering, and administration related to the proposed Montgomery County Sanitation District # 2 Sewer Collection System Rehab Project.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances, initiated by the COVID-19 pandemic, firms are now permitted to submit responses to this Request for Qualifications electronically. Proposals should be submitted in PDF form, not exceeding 15 single-sided pages, and be delivered to the following email address: Submissions must include the following subject line: “[Firm Name]: RFQ – Montgomery County Sanitation District # 2 Sewer Collection System Rehab Project.”

Firms wishing to submit hard copy proposals should send four copies of their statement of qualification, not exceeding 15 single-sided pages, to Jocelyn Gross, Gateway Area Development District, 110 Lake Park Drive, Morehead, KY 40351. City of Morehead - Notice of Intent to Apply for CARES CDBG-CV Funds

To all interested citizens of Morehead, Kentucky:

The Kentucky Department of Local Government (DLG) is accepting application material under the 2020 Community Development Block Grant CARES Act (CDBG-CV) Program.  The City of Morehead intends to apply for assistance for the 2020 Morehead Inspiration Center (Recovery Kentucky) CARES Act Project.  The City of Morehead will hold a virtual public hearing prior to the submission of the application form.  The public hearing will be held on Friday November 13, 2020 at 10:00 am local time via GoToMeeting which can be joined from your computer, tablet, or smartphone at or by phone by dialing +1 (224) 501-3412 Access Code: 940-345-093. The purpose of this hearing is to obtain views on housing and community development needs, review proposed activities, review the proposed application, and solicit public comments. Technical assistance is available to help groups representing low and moderate income persons in developing proposals.

The following information concerning the CDBG program is available for public inspection at City of Morehead Administrative Office Building-314 Bridge Street, Morehead, KY during regular business hours:

  1. Amount of funds available and range of activities that may be undertaken.
  2. Estimated amounts of funds proposed to be used for activities benefiting persons of low and moderate income.
  3. Plans for minimizing displacement of persons as a result of activities associated with CDBG funds and plans for providing assistance to those persons to be actually displaced as a result of CDBG-funded activities.
  4. Records regarding the past use of CDBG funds.
  5. A summary of other important program requirements.


Comments on Application

A copy of the 2020 CDBG-CV application materials will be on file at City of Morehead Administrative Office, 314 Bridge Street-Morehead, KY for citizens’ review and comment during regular business hours from November 5, 2020 through November 13, 2020. Comments on the proposed application may be submitted to the attention of Mayor Laura White-Brown until the close of business on November 13, 2020.

City of Morehead - 911 Dispatch Radio Console Workstations

City of Morehead will be accepting proposals for the purchase and installation of four 911 Dispatch Radio Console Workstation equipment.


Statements of qualifications and proposals must be received by 3:30 PM local time by Monday, November 23, 2020. The proposal must include one (1) original proposal and one complete electronic copy in PDF format on a CD-ROM or flash drive.

Gateway Regional Workforce Development Plan Request for Proposals

The Gateway Area Development District (GADD) is inviting proposals from highly qualified firms with expertise in workforce development and analysis, with the qualifications and background to develop a workforce strategic plan which will provide the framework to build a resilient regional economy that mitigates the Dependence, Impact, and Risk of the Coal Industry Ecosystem in the expanded Gateway region.

All proposal submissions must follow the submittal instructions in the Request for Proposals and be delivered on or before 3:00 p.m. ET, Friday, December 4, 2020.  Proposals received after this time and date shall not be considered for review.
