Economic Impact & Feasibility Study for a New Post Clinic Facility Request For Proposals

The City of Mount Sterling is inviting proposals from highly qualified firms with expertise in project feasibility studies, with the qualifications and background to conduct an economic impact and feasibility study to determine the viability and practicality of constructing a new facility for a free clinic in Mount Sterling, Kentucky and examine other potential alternatives.

Proposals should include one (1) marked original, and seven (7) marked copies submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as MOUNT STERLING POST CLINC FEASIBILITY STUDY, to the Gateway Area Development District, 110 Lake Park Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, firms are now permitted to submit electronic responses to the Request for Proposals for the Mount Sterling Post Clinic Feasibility Study. Electronic PDF submissions are to be delivered to the following email address: requests@gwadd.org. Electronic submissions must include the following subject line: “[Firm Name]: RFP-Mount Sterling Post Clinic Feasibility Study.

Notice: Should any firms choose to hand deliver the statement of qualifications, please be advised to call ahead and schedule an appointment prior to delivery at (606) 780-0090.

Menifee County Athletics Field Improvement Project LWCF Application Public Notice

Under the 2020 Land and Water Conservation Fund, a program of the National Park Service, citizens are afforded the opportunity to express their views concerning the recreational needs of their community.

To provide a forum for discussion, a virtual open meeting/public hearing is being held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 12:00 pm local time. The specific purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Menifee County Sam Swartz Memorial Park Athletics Field Improvement Project. The proposed project will upgrade the existing lighting fixtures on the high school athletic field to meet Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) standards and install a new scoreboard. The existing lighting system includes eight undersized wooden poles with traditional lighting technology. The poles will be replaced with two 80ft and four 70ft tall galvanized steel poles (according to KHSAA requirements). The new poles will be placed in the same location of the existing poles around the field; four poles around the infield, dugout, and bleacher area and four poles in the outfield area. The current lighting will be replaced with 40 luminaries. The project will also remove the existing scoreboard and install a new 12’-16’ wide scoreboard to be placed along the outfield fence line of the high school athletic field. The total estimated cost for the proposed project is $260,000.
