Coronavirus [COVID-19]

March 13, 2020 – In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, effective Monday, March 16, 2020, Gateway Area Development District (GADD) will be closing the region’s senior centers to the public, participants, and volunteers, and suspending congregate meal operations at the Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, and Rowan County Senior Centers until further notice.

GADD is implementing an alternative meal distribution method for the region’s congregate meal participants. All GADD-operated senior centers will distribute packaged hot meals, via a drive thru-system, on a first-come, first-served basis, to congregate participants beginning at 11:30 AM each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, excluding inclement weather days and holidays. At this time, senior center home delivered meal (HDM) operations will continue as scheduled.

Gateway’s main office will remain open during regular business hours, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, and Rowan County Senior Centers can be reached via phone from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
