RFQ - Morehead Utility Plant Board - KY 801 Water and Sewer Upgrades

The Morehead Utility Plant Board will be accepting statements of qualifications for the MUPB KY 801
Water and Sewer Upgrades for professional engineering services. Firms interested in applying should
contact Jocelyn Gross at 606.780.0090 ext. 2207 or email
jocelynr.gross@ky.gov for the full Request for Qualifications. Statements of qualifications must be
received by 3:30 PM local time by Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

The Morehead Utility Plant Board reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive any
technicalities, and to negotiate with the respondent who most nearly meets the project requirements.
The Morehead Utility Plant Board is not responsible or liable for any costs incurred by the consultants

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY OF MOREHEAD
MOREHEAD PARKVIEW MULTI-FAMILY APARTMENT PROJECT

To all interested citizens of Morehead, Kentucky:
The Kentucky Department of Local Government (DLG) is accepting application material under the 2023 Community
Development Block Grant Housing Program. Morehead intends to apply for assistance to complete the Morehead Parkview
Mul􀆟-Family Apartment Project. The City is partnering with Frontier Housing, Inc. to complete a 40 unit multi-family
apartment complex to be located at 340 Triple􀆩 Street, Morehead, Kentucky.

Morehead will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 13, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Morehead City Hall located at 314
Bridge Street, Morehead, Kentucky 40351. The purpose of this hearing is to obtain views on housing and community
development needs, review proposed ac􀆟vi􀆟es, review the proposed application, and solicit public comments. Technical
assistance is available to help groups representing low and moderate income persons in developing proposals.
The following information concerning the CDBG program is available for public inspection at Morehead City Hall at 314
Bridge Street, Morehead, Kentucky 40351 during regular business hours:
A. Amount of funds available and range of ac􀆟vi􀆟es that may be undertaken.
B. Es􀆟mated amounts of funds proposed to be used for ac􀆟vi􀆟es benefi􀆟ng persons of low and moderate income.
C. Plans for minimizing displacement of persons as a result of ac􀆟vi􀆟es associated with CDBG funds and plans for
providing assistance to those persons to be actually displaced as a result of CDBG-funded ac􀆟vi􀆟es.
D. Records regarding the past use of CDBG funds.
E. A summary of other important program requirements.
COMMENTS ON APPLICATION
A copy of the CDBG application material will be on file at Morehead City Hall at 314 Bridge Street, Morehead, Kentucky
40351 for citizens’ review and comment during regular business hours from Friday, December 1, 2023 through Tuesday,
December 12, 2023. Comments on the proposed application may be submitted to the attention of Mayor Laura White-
Brown un􀆟l the close of business on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
