Morehead Small Business Development Center — The SBDC provides one-on-one consultations at no cost to existing and potential entrepreneurs in Northeastern Kentucky.
Kentucky Innovation Network – the Kentucky Innovation Network creates a network of business leaders and mentors that encourage relationships, grow companies new and existing, and create jobs.
East Kentucky Technical Assistance Providers – EKyTAP network supports entrepreneurs and small businesses by helping them locate the right resources within the network’s member organizations.
Mountain Association for Community and Economic Development — MACED’s technical assistance focuses on financial management systems development to help borrowers keep track of their day-to-day operations and profitability.
Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development — Small business growth is so vital to Kentucky’s economic future that the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development has placed a special focus on the needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Service Corps of Retired Executives — SCORE offers free and confidential business advice online or at various locations.
Government Procurement
Kentucky APEX Accelerator — Businesses interested in marketing their products and/or services to Kentucky government agencies can receive free assistance from the Kentucky APEX Accelerator.
eProcurement.ky.gov — Kentucky’s eProcurement site is available to allow extended access to such features as Vendor Registration, Browsing Current Bidding Opportunities, Viewing Recent Awards and Online Bidding when permitted.
Federal Business Opportunities — FBO.gov is the U.S. Government’s one-stop virtual marketplace. Through this single point of entry, commercial vendors and government buyers are invited to post, search, monitor, and retrieve opportunities solicited by the entire Federal contracting community.
System for Award Management — SAM is the primary registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. SAM collects, validates, stores and disseminates data in support of agency acquisition missions. All contractors seeking to do business with the U.S. government are required to register through this site.
